1.30 Q: What are the obstacles to practice?
Disease, dullness, doubt, laziness, sloth confusion, lack of concentration, false perception and unsteady mind are obstacles of different kind

There are several obstacles to the practice of Yoga. They are:

Disease in the body

Doubt as to the efficacy of Yoga practice

Carelessness or a state of confusion.

Indifference or laziness.

Sleep during day time and excessive sleep.

Not leaving the objects of senses;

Erroneous perception or delusion.

Concern with worldly affairs

Want of faith.

Lack of aptitude

Gross Body Composed of wind, fire and water is subject to scores of diseases as also many other troubles like bad odour, deformity, inflammation and fracture.
Subtle Body Affected by desire, anger, greed, delusion, pride and jealousy
Causal Body In deep sleep, the state of causal body, the soul know neither himself nor others and appears as if dead. This causal body is the seed of future births and their miseries.

Body Sick, A sickly, dilapidated body stands in the way of practice regular exercise, asana, pranayama, moderation in diet, walking, running in the open air and by regularity in his work, meals and sleep.
Drowsiness and Sleep Laziness, half-sleepy state, sleep
Meditation, if the body is light, if the mind is clear, if there is cheerfulness, know that you are meditating
Day dreaming Mind has a tendency to build castles in the air. Closely watch the mind Be thoughtful, careful and vigilant
